02 — Behind the work

Always a work in progress

Curious by nature.
Builder by choice.

Colombo, Sri Lanka

I’m Kumuditha, a software engineering student who learns best by making things that work in the real world.

I’m completing my HND at NIBM Colombo. My work moves between Flutter apps, Next.js platforms, native macOS tools, and connected hardware. I like understanding the whole picture, then finding the simplest way to make it work.

Right now, I’m looking for my first professional engineering role or internship — a place to contribute, ask good questions, and keep getting better.

Kumuditha Tharinda Liyanage is a software engineer and final-semester HND Software Engineering student at the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He builds mobile, web, desktop and cloud software, and publishes his work at github.com/mr-kumuditha.

What has Kumuditha Tharinda Liyanage built?

Nine featured projects. MacPulse is a publicly released native macOS system optimizer in Swift and SwiftUI. Navora is a cross-platform Flutter travel app for Sri Lanka with Gemini-powered itinerary generation. Rehearsal is an API reliability workbench for rehearsing timeouts, duplicate events and rate limits. Fixora is a four-role Android repair management app. The IoT Safety Monitoring System is an ESP32 mining-safety helmet with a live dashboard. DevPilot Studio is an open-source Claude Code terminal plugin. He has also built EventHub, Ever After Wedding and the Sinhala Subtitle Converter.
